My favourite subject

My  favourite subject is zoology or animal diversity
because is the only subject that is really related with animals themselves
in this semester and beacuse in laboratory we can touch and see
the animals parts and learn which are their function and how is look like en real time.
The others subject are not relate with animals like zoology there are
more abstract and i can't see what i'm studing in real life what is very important to me,
maybe in chemestry i can seeit in laboraty to but a really don't like it
that much.
The other reason why i like zoology is because i can learn more
about evolution and how the animals became in what they are now and how they were
many many years ago, i can know which animals are related betwen themselves and
also i can know how many animals are already extinct why they are extinct to.

For that and other reason more is why zoology is my favourite subject
untill now, nobody knowmaybe in the future is other my favourite subject.

Barry Horne

   Barry Horne born in Northhampton in 1952 was one of the biggest animal liberation activist who died in a UK prison hospital on November of 2001. Before he start been and activist person he was a simply sweeper in the streets where he live. He was divorced.

   He fought for the animal rights and against the vivisection attacking laboratories where animal experimentation took place. But is important to say that the attacks were when the laboratories were without people and animals.

His first attack was when he try to rescue a dolphins called “rocky” that was in a small pool in Marineland in Morecambe.

After  that first attack he destroy and burn laboratiories like Boots the Chemists in Newport in the Wight Island (a company that  test products with animals)  that caused economic damage estimated at 3 million pounds in 1994.  He was sentenced to 18 years in prison for that attack and several criminals damages and attcks mainly against others companies involved in vivisection.

In prison he went on hunger strike several times in protest against government support for the vivisection industry. The third of these hunger strikes lasted 68 days, and Barry never fully recovered. And after that finally hunger strike he died in the hospitaly.

 Barry Horne is one of my heroes because I really don’t like animals testing and I fight for the animals rights to. No matters the consequents he fought until he died and for me that is and example of life.

Me and my profesion.

    Well guys and girls there is a very long history about why and want to study here and specially why i want to be a Vet. This start in 2005 when a was in 8º, i started to think that cruelty to animals was a very stupid thing an iunecessary in all case, so i read a lot of documents and wacht a lor of videos that show the many kinds of bad thing and punishment we cause to animals and nature (that's one of the many reason why i'm a veg). With the past of the time i still think the same way and i decided that this was the profession that would help me to help animals and nature and this is the best university and was always my dream to study here. 
   
    Once in the uni  wiht my friends and knowing in a better way how is focused this profession, i want to work and develop myself in a vey interising area which is exotic animals but is vey difficult here because here this profession is very focused in animal production (i hate that), but  is my dream to help animals like monkeys, whales, dolphins, and that kind of animals but i had to be realistic and see what throught the years in here is the best choise that a can take for my future, always being loyal with my ideology and lifestyle.  My name is james and i have 19 year old i love my girl she is the most amesing women in this world(after my mon), i love play music with my band,  go to shows and view my favourites band with friends, i enter to this carrer because i love animals, their interction wiht the nature and a want to fight for their rights. My last year in the school was in 2009 but i enter to college this year because i has very sick but now thanks to my girl my friends and more important my family i´m fine thanks them. Since the moment of my sickness i´m a person who love life and enjoy every moment and try to smile more and be less angry. So tjs is a litle about me i hope this blog helps me to improve my english.
